ControlShop v2.02 Release Notes

Solutions in 505Server and ModServer

  • Corrected problem where signed values being negative were not showing up as negative in Microsoft Access.

Solutions in FTTrend

  • Corrected daylight savings time problem where data would not show up for realtime or logged data when looking at small time ranges. Also dates may repeat when starting at midnight.
  • Corrected problem where an error was occurring when selecting a start date.
  • Made change to remove ‘*’ from file title after a save is performed.

ControlShop v2.01 Release Notes

New Features in FTTrend

  • Added scaling for realtime points, specified per point.
  • Added data point markers – circles or squares, in graph setup.
  • Added display to show ‘*’ after the filename if a change is made.
  • Set the focus to the Address edit box in the Add Data Point dialogs.

Solutions in FTTrend

  • Corrected problem where editing realtime points was not being allowed.
  • Corrected problem where Browse button for realtime database selection did not work.
  • Made modification to clear the filename if all trend windows are closed.
  • Took out prompt to save file changes if a new window was opened and no modifications were made.
  • Corrected problem where proper menus were not being shown when a file was loaded from a shortcut.

Product Enhancement

  • Shared documentation database between ControlShop and PLC WorkShop/505 SoftShop. Labels/tags need only be entered once and then shared between applications.

  • 505 Server: Corrected bug where bit values for addresses types other than X, Y, or C can report incorrect data.

Product Enhancement

  • 505 Server: Enhanced the time it takes to cancel out of the server after receiving “Key not found” error. It did require to wait an extended period of time for the server to timeout.

  • 505 Server: Corrected problem of no error checking when attempting to write a bit value to a non-discrete address.
  • 505 Server: Corrected problem where key check routine was searching for the wrong product.
  • 505 Server: Corrected problem where warranty date was not being read out of the key correctly.
  • 505 Server: Corrected problem where there was potential for invalid read packets sent to PLC when there was an odd number of bytes.
  • 505 Server: Corrected problem where not all data in the group was being read by the server.

PLC WorkShop for Square D v6.00 Release Notes

Solutions

  • Corrected update of date as displayed on top of software screen.
  • Removed internal date setting function (Use DOS command line). Updated corresponding help screen.
  • Changed display of file date in DISK OPER from 2 digits to 4 digits.
  • Updated screen when time changes from 23:59 to 00.00.
  • Modified installation program so that software can be installed without first copying to a floppy disk.
